In a busy week for Canterbury Academy sport, our students have experienced success in a range of activities. Our Year 7 softball team have defied the odds and won their first game this week.
The team picked up their first win in an exhilarating game against Herne Bay High. The boys were four runs down after the third innings but batted consistently and fielded tightly to seal an 8-5 victory. The boys have worked extremely hard in lessons and at softball club and have improved tremendously in their first season together.
