Kidenza put on special concerts with a professional orchestra to engage youngsters with live classical music in a fun and interactive way. In the morning five local primary schools came in to take part while our own high school students later attended a more grown-up version of the concert featuring well known music such as Prokofiev’s “Dance of the Knights” – also famous as the theme tune from The Apprentice. Our students conducted themselves superbly and some of the year 7s even got involved by playing the bass drum in the orchestra with a large, fluffy beater!
